She is also well known for her lead roles in a number of television movies. She has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Awards three times.

Amy Schumer was born in Manhattan and grew up on Long Island, New York. She attended South Side High School and was voted both "Class Clown" and "Teacher's Worst Nightmare" upon graduation in 1999. Schumer graduated from Towson University in 2003 with a degree in theater. She moved to New York City after college, where she studied at the William Esper Studio for two years and worked as a bartender and a waitress. Through her father, she is the niece of Chuck Schumer, U.S. Senator from New York.

She started doing stand-up comedy on June 1, 2004, when she first performed at Gotham Comedy Club. After not passing an audition for an earlier season, she advanced to the finals of the fifth season of the NBC reality television talent show Last Comic Standing and placed fourth. Shaw has starred in numerous motion pictures since the early 1990s, and is probably most well-known for her performances in Disney's 1993 Halloween film Hocus Pocus, Ladybugs, the 2006 remake of Wes Craven's horror picture The Hills Have Eyes, as well as the 2008 romance film Two Lovers, in which she starred alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Erika Flores (born November 2, 1979 in Grass Valley, California) is an American actress and former child actress, known for her role as the first Colleen Cooper in the Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman TV series. Erika left the role in 1995 on account of a salary dispute as well as personal reasons in the middle of the third season. The role was then recast with Jessica Bowman as Colleen.
Flores guest-starred on the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Disaster". She played Marissa Flores, one of three young science-fair winners aboard the USS Enterprise. During a guided tour by Captain Picard, the ship was disabled and they were stuck in a turbolift.

That year, she also made her off-Broadway debut in Days of Rage. In 2020, she starred as Frannie in the post-apocalypse miniseries The Stand, based on the 1978 novel of the same name by Stephen King, and opposite Elisabeth Moss in Shirley (2020), a film about the novelist Shirley Jackson.

Paula Malcomson (born 1970) is a Northern Irish actress born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Malcomson is sometimes credited as Paula Williams. She starred as "Trixie" in the HBO series Deadwood and Colleen in ABC's Lost. She played the role of Amanda Graystone in the Battlestar Galactica spin-off series Caprica, on the Sci Fi Channel, as well as the role of Maureen Ashby on the FX Series Sons of Anarchy. Malcomson recently guest starred in a March 2011 episode of Fringe. She will play Mrs. Everdeen in the film adaptation of The Hunger Games, her first major starring movie role.
