The scripts of these series were translated and edited by Gerard Cox and Sjoerd Pleijsier, two of the main actors. From the start of the fourth season they started to write their own episodes. The series are taking place in the south of Rotterdam, late fifties. The last season of the series took place in 1976.

F.C. De Kampioenen, was a long-running Flemish sitcom chronicling the adventures of a fictional local football team. It aired on the Belgian-Flemish channel één between 1990 and 2011, for 21 seasons with 273 half-hour long episodes, making it one of the most successful comedy programs ever on Belgian television. In 2009 a film had been planned, but has since been cancelled following complaints by the actors about the script. In 2012 the crew announced a new script was written and a movie will be produced. The movie is to be released in December 2013. The series relies heavily on stereotypical characters and farce for its humour. The story is mainly set around a few members of the football club who regularly visit the club canteen before or after a soccer training or match. The canteen is run by Pascale, who is in a relationship with Maurice. The football club is sponsored by the owner of a sausage factory, Balthazar Boma. Next to the field is an antiques shop, owned by the fraudulent Fernand. Most of the episodes are based on misunderstandings or dirty tricks from Fernand.

De Kotmadam is a classic Flemish comedy television series directed by Ronnie Commissaris and Wim Feyearts produced for Belgian television since 1991. The series is written by Jaak Boon and Frans Ceusters. Season 21 was aired as from March 2013. Season 22 is currently in production meaning the show is the longest running Belgian sitcom in terms of amounts of episodes and seasons. The series revolves around Jeanne Piens, who owns a small sweet shop in the centre of Leuven and rents out several rooms of her house to students studying in the city. She is a caring type and loves all her students. Her husband Jef Liefooghe works for the city's gardening department. Their friend Odilon Bonheur, a naïve warden in the local prison, visits regularly to give or seek help. Odillon Mortier decided not to perform in season 21 due to health reasons. That's why Heman Verbruggen got a new main role in the season: Gijs, a clumsy colleague of Jef. As Mortier suddenly died on 13th of August 2012, Verbruggen will also act in future seasons.

It consists of father François 'Cois' Backeljau, his wife Maria, the rather cunning Bomma ('granny' Thérèse, his mother), the even older pet (in dog years) Blacky, their son Franky and his wife Janine, daughter Sabrina and her husband Antonio and little nephew Lionel, the youngest but more intelligent then all his dumb relatives together and various lovers, friends and regular guests, such as the mailman and the policeman.
